Turramurra House

Reconstructed the rear kitchen/living back of a typical triple-fronted 1960s texture brick house occupied by a family with two children. To achieve a modern Sydney lifestyle adaptation, the original kitchen was opened up under a quadrant acrylic roof which was protected from the sun by a flying shield of lattice. A new formal family room and deck was added to extend the space outwards to the pool and garden. In 2001 the main bedroom was similarly enlarged.
